Yes today I ordered the room defender and the water powered clock/vase. I will post pictures when they arrive.

post in blog, I must
Just got back from watching star wars episode 3. I enjoyed it, though I would not classify it as one of my favourite movies. Also scored a free icecream on the back of the movie ticket
Arriving home and checking my email I discovered that the think geek newsletter has arrived here are my favourites.
Remote controlled cars that are controlled by a digital watch
A mouse pad that has extra usb ports in the back of it and pretty glowing lights.
The room defender. I considered buying this when it first came out. They are not made anymore but I have to decide if I can afford it
A clock that is powered by water. You even have a space at the back of it to put flowers in
Snow in Brisbane
Well not quiet.
Last Thursday night we were hit by a sudden hail storm. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I did not get to see the storm because I was working back late.

Busy weekend
This weekend is coming to a close. It has been really busy with a cd recording, paws walk and concert.
My band recorded the first half of a cd on saturday afternoon. It was exciting to start with but after 5 hours it just seemed long. I will soon post photos in the gallery of my bands website. We will be recording the rest at the end of the year.
The paws walk was fun, but a little quiet. We went to the ipswich one so there was not a lot of people. view the photos
GMT calculator
I know I just posted, but I just remembered that I created a very simple GMT time calculator a little while ago. There are plenty out on the net but they all get very complex and never really gave me what I wanted which was to have a destination time, destination gmt, my gmt and work out what time that would mean for me since there I need to calculate this for in game meetings and although it is a simple calculation it never seems it when I am tired, which odly is the time that I am calculating game times.
There is limited validation but your not meant to try to break it only use it.
