I had this afternoon off work. YAY. After relaxing for a few hours I felt a lot more awake and decided to take my bike out for a test run. I managed to find the bike path and it is only 15min away. There is also an on road bike path (runs parallel to the road) for most of the way, but this is often filled with parked cars.

Before taking off I found out that it was actually legal in Queensland to ride your bike on the footpath as long as you gave way to pedestrians.

I purchased a new bike yesterday. It is pink and purple and I would show you but unfortunately I don’t have my camera *dramatic wimper*. The little catch that holds the memory card in snapped and since it is under warantee for another week I rushed it in to get it fixed. The waiting time will be up to 4 weeks! Im sure the repair time will be a lot less, the catch is on the door which is attached with two screw. Undo the screws replace the door and give me my camera back!

In other news I have been working on a flash interactive intro for the blitzers website. It is halfway there so stay tuned for the result. I also handed over the script I use to pull the top 10 news posts out of the database for my band’s website. Manden manipulated it a bit to add a new feature to the front of the blitzers website

Talking about band, I forgot to mention that we went on tour to Stanthorpe last week. Stanthorpe is often the coldest place in Queensland. Luckily it was not as cold as expected. I have some posted some photos in the band’s gallery

Day two and three will come when I collect photos from other band members. I will also post some of the wonderful scenery photos in my photo gallery some time in the future.

My toys (room defender and water clock) arrived today. I was really suprised how quick delivery was. I had a little play with the room defender but realised I needed batteries which I will have to get tomorrow.

Today I took my camera into work to do some staff photos. I decided to then get some background images from the garders in case we wanted to spruce up the background and also just for a bit of fun. I probably looked really odd walking around the garderns taking pictures of shrubs and bushes and then taking pictures of myself in front of the same background so that I could understand the lighting of the area. I have arranged a few of the 117 photos I took below.

Yes today I ordered the room defender and the water powered clock/vase. I will post pictures when they arrive.
