This afternoon I decided to make some gingerbread cookies. It is my first attempt at piping icing.
There were many more biscuits, however they seemed to misteriously dissapear when my back was turned.

Mum’s Birthday Cake
This was the Birthday Cake I made from mum. It is my second attempt at using fondant. I used a different recipe, which was a little more complex then my first but tasted a lot better. Unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of spare time to make the cake. I managed to make the vienna icing and decorate the cake in 1.5 hours.
Kitchen mayhem
Inspired by the wedding cake figurines, I decided to have a go and making my own icing creations.
Doing a bit of research, then finding a recipe for fondant, I made my first batch tonight.
Here is my first creation… I know there is a lot of room for improvement, but I’m pretty proud of it.
