New camera

My old canon ixus 430 is not working more than working so after having it for about 6 years I decided it was time for an upgrade. After doing a bit of research on compact cameras, I decided on the panasonic tz15 and I’m not dissapointed!

I took the camera for a bit of a spin around the yard (hence the weed photos) and the local park. All the photos were taken on the intellegent auto setting. Here are the results…

Welcome to Brisbane KC

One of my guild member’s is travelling around Australia at the moment. He is in Brisbane this weekend so I took him out to lone pine for the day with a trip back down the river.

Last year Andrew and I met Qer when he came out for work and took him to lone pine. Unfortunately it was afternoon so most of the animals were sleeping. I made a point of taking pictures of awake animals to show they are alive.

Panaramic photos

I finally got around to installing adobe CS3. To test the new stitching capabilities of photoshop, I dug up the photos I took on our honeymoon. The photomerge script is a little fussy with the images you put in. Photos that overlap a lot seem to work best.

The rest of the photos can be found on flickr in my panaramic set

I also uploaded the honeymoon photos that are also in the wedding gallery to flickr.
